Stopped working within a week. I own 3 other streanlight lights all for firearms and had no problems. Very disappointing to get such a garbage light from them.

Mounted on my VR80 and my wife's AR15. Not too bright, but enough that it works well indoors and outside. The strobe feature is very effective. The flexibility of mounting the pressure pad made this a winner for my wife and I. Great job.

I wanted a good pocket carry with good power and have been pleased with this. Most days I actually carry a Protac 2L-X USB for more heft but Protac 1 is great as well.

Great light for the money, very bright! Quick to mount and remove. Uses up the batteries fairly quickly, will invest in rechargable ones. My only complaint, "I wish the rail mount was reversible". Light is unaffected by 9mm carbine recoil.

I saw this flashlight on a YouTube video. It was exactly what I was looking for. A very small, but powerful light that you can clip onto or slip into a pocket. I haven't had it long enough to comment on battery lie, but I think it will do fine.

It takes some getting use to operate the button for the three modes.

Please replace immediately. This quit working. Call me.

First flashlight that I bought and went "wooaahh!" when I turned it on. It is brighter than past flashlights that I have had and has been very useful when I needed more light. The battery life is pretty decent with it's tiny batteries. The water resistance is very good. I have used them during snowstorms and rainstorms. I'm going to buy another one for my sister.

The non-mount equivalent to the Mount 1, functionally identical except with these you supply your own appropriate mount. Good for indoor situations, may not be fantastic outside in some situations, but a solid choice none the less.

Had my last one with me everyday for about 12 years. Got hooked on something and lost it, so this is the replacement. Works perfect, easy to carry. Figure for as long as I had the last one, I more than got my money's worth instead of buying cheap.

Thought I did my due diligence but feel burnt they sell the battery's in 1-2 or 4 packs this flashlight takes 3... Finding rechargeable battery's and charger I found impossible partly due to fire danger if you don't use the 3 0r 4 battery types they recommend Makes a nice $80 dollar paper weight though

Product would intermittently work for months. Finally took a very gentle fall onto carpet and stopped working altogether. Pretty disappointing in terms of reliability and durability.

I returned it, because it was a fake. Didn’t even say Streamlight!

I use Surefire lights on my rifles and handguns. Mainly because Streamlight weapon lights activate exactly when you don’t want them to. Their handheld lights however; best value going and this light in particular. Two reasons why; dual fuel, either a standard AA or a CR123 and that is an awesome resource. The other, besides it’s great waterproof durability, is the two way clip. I often wind up clipping the light to the brim of my ball cap for hands-free quick work. Ten tap programmable, great battery life, excellent warranty. These lights are excellent.

This is a great flashlight. Working early mornings, this flashlight is just the tool for working outdoors on all weather. It is extremely bright. I use it to illuminate the fifth wheel of my tractor as well as other things. I picked this flashlight because it can easily be programmed to be a single mode flashlight where on is the brightest setting. One button press ON, next button press is OFF. It is irritating how hard it is to find a single mode quality flashlight. I have no need for a low light setting or disco strobe mode... This is the one to get!

Awesome value for the money. I’ve used Streamlight for many years and this is just another great product.

I purchased this light in December 2019. The light was very good and I used it everyday. The problem was the on/off switch. In late fall 2020 the switch started giving me problems. It was building pressure and swelling the rubber button. I changed batteries and it did not stop. Therefore I needed to unscrew the cap to release pressure. Than the switch would work sporadically. Two days ago It didn't work at all. I threw it out and purchased an Olight.

Best overall tactical flashlight I've owned. Streamlight also stands by their products. Would highly recommend. I use Energizer lithium batteries for mine, and it gives it a little more brightness while making it weigh less.

Had to return two because they did not work or stopped working. Otherwise when they work very good light.

This thing is great. I'm a plumber and ice most certainly put this light to the test time and again. I've even left it in my pockets by accident and sent it through the washer and dryer several times. Still works like a champ! Super bright super small only needs 1 double A and fits in your pocket with ease. Highly recommended

The light is a little larger than I would have preferred, but it fits well on my 12 GA. Love the strobe feature.

This is great little flashlight I use at work. It’s very sturdy and the dual light output is helpful. I usually use it in the morning before sunrise to check for any leaks on trucks or equipment before leaving the yard and have dropped it several times and has a few scratches but operates perfectly. Would 100% recommend.

It is a awesome flashlight for the price and also for the light as bright as the expensive lights out there. It works great.👍👍👍

I bought a Streamlight SL-20 just as soon as I discovered them in the late 70’s. So, I’ve used Streamlight products for over 40 years, and while there are a number of magnificent lights available, it is hard not to like the old standards that have served you well. By the old standards, they were the best... by today's standards, they are still a worthy competitor, they just have more competition. Bright, strong, sturdy and still everything you want in a flashlight.

Great, cheaper light. Good name brand and simple mechanism, love the light. Works as it should and I like it takes different style batteries.

Great! The light is great lights up our backyard. Battery is long lasting. The flashlight is small but powerful.

Great light. Lousy holster. The light performs well. Both output, and distance are phenomenal. The holster that comes with it is just ridiculous. The solid holster works better (one handed), but is uncomfortable when you go to sit, and it pushes into your body. Maybe try making a leather one?

Works great, had to return first one because it came with the wrong switch and tailcap for the switch. Paired it with a Cloud Defensive LCS with an Arisaka 45 deg offset mount. Couldn’t be more pleased. Durable, adequate battery life, excellent light throw

This is my second Streamlight product. I have it mounted on a Magpul MLOK off-set for an AR15 barrel guard. The dual function tape switch works very well. Have that held on with zip ties for now so, can't speak to the double stick performance yet until I'm sure where I want it. Expected that 625 lumens wasn't going to be sufficient but YOWSER this thing is bright! Lights up all of my expected AO. Anybody I strobe this thing at will likely rethink the plan. I don't see any routine rough & tumble activity coming for this. I have a RedLine tactical flashlight that I beat the living tar out of with no issues and this light looks just as stout and the battery format is much better. Got a check in every box here and not sure what peeling off a pile more in cash would get me. Happy customer. Next long-gun will get a twin.

Okay I don't know what's going on here, I was going through batteries real fast, so one day I desided to test how long new batteries lasted in this flash light. Less than a hour, that's right less than an hour not only that, when I went to switch it was roasting hot to touch. This thing sucks the juice out of batteries that fast I would burn a hole in my pocket if left on. For $70 I expected much more.

Great light, really bright with cr123. Came on in my pocket once but I believe it was my fault. Overall great light for the money, and not an extreme loss if you lost it.

Part of my EDC. Like my swiss army knife I use this every day. I was very pleased with the brightness and battery life. The high, low, and dazzle settings are easy to toggle with one button.

Good product

Lost my last light after several years. Used to work at night outdoors and carried a larger sized tac light. For the last couple years I've been working more indoors and the other megalumen 9000 lights were just too bright. Often causing glares and reflections making them difficult to use. I find this one to be much less intrusive and creates less wear on my clothing due to its lack of size and minimal textures/strike bezel etc. overall just an excellent little pocket sized light. Ive been carrying it for months now everyday and with normal usage the single aaa holds up for a couple weeks. My three year old prob hurts the battery life more than anything.

Easy install and super bright!

This is a bright light that is good to have while out at night alone. I gave four stars because it is a little difficult to change from bright to low light.

This is the second I've bought and not the last. Fits in the Proctor light mount on the ar, also clips in my front pocket and rides in its holster on my backpack strap not to mention anywhere in the truck. Great lights

Great little light, very bright for its size. Batteries are cheep and easy to replace. I have two of theses and my wife steals one every time she gets a chance.

I live off grid. After years of a new cheap tactical flashlight every six months or so, I decided to buy the fancy one. six months later, it doesn't really work anymore: it turns itself off constantly, if it turns on at all, and it doesn't disassemble easily enough for me to diagnose and repair. Which makes me sad: I like the size and feel of this flashlight. I might have gotten one of the counterfeits that someone mentioned above: the o-ring in mine is black and the spring is silver. If you want something tacticool to put in your pocket sure, but if you actually rely on a flashlight look elsewhere, at least at this price.

I drive a subway train for a living and this little light is a small size and lights up a dark tunnel or dark night BEAUTIFULLY !!!

Got the new Streamlight 88066 ProTac Rail Mount HL-X Fixed Mount Ten Tap, 1,000 Lumens, Black. Had a bit of trouble trying to mount this light, then the LIGHT in my brain went off and I realized that I needed to loosen ALL of the screws to make it sit right on the rail; then tighten a little at a time until the mount sits firmly on the rail. (I know the instructions may have been explained on the packaging, but half the time their not) Anyway it's mounted and works great. This light don't dim; you get 1000 Lumens all the time it's on. Love the pressure switch. (Hint: Velcro works beautifully)

The box was open and the batteries were already installed but at least it is not a knock off and it is super bright. Fits nice looks nice.

The (Protac HL, 750 Lumens) light worked and performed as it should for the first couple months... then the on / off , toggle button died. Opening and messing with the switch mechanism could make it work a little while longer. Value wise I have done better with Coast G32 LED light from AL's Sports for $20. It still works and is bright after a year. I use with lithium batteries for a bit more power. They also don't leak or corrode like alkaline due to higher build / safety standards.

Bright light! Battery life could be longer, but for the brightness and size it’s worth having!! I use it everyday at work and at home!

I have ordered a couple of this specific light for my husband he has a job in which starts very early in the morning and he also uses it for a tactical tool. This flashlight meets right in the middle since for the everyday he can run the AA batteries and for training he can switch to the more powerful battery.

The strobe is strong and having a AA Battery platform is convenient

15 year vet, and Streamlight has never done me wrong. I've had them run over by hose draggers, busted out windows, and been in fights. Only reason I ever get a new one is boredom really, I've never had one actually NEED replacing. Got this one because I switched to a LBV and needed one with a clip. Bright enough for all aspects of the job, and being USB rechargeable is a great feature.

I waited a while to write this review, and this flashlight has the best of all worlds! It’s bright, it’s not too big so not fits into pocket/bag/car console easily. The battery lasts forever and I didn’t need to buy extra but I have them now. Great practical flashlight for any occasion.

Congratulations you bought a bombproof light but you CANT CHARGE IT!!! The lights are strong and have been but like the death star from star wars there's always a flaw with these and how they make their money off of idiots like me. Every light that I've purchased from this company is so strong and I want to keep them but with a few months...the charger holder or in this case the built in charging port breaks!!! Always!!! Phasing them out and moving on to surefire or olight.

My light is only a year newer than my husband's, same brand etc. BUT he's jealous cause mine is brighter. 👍😄

perfect pocket size torch for every day carry, this will be all you need. Uses dual fuel,either AA and CR123. Easy to program the mode of light you need. So pleased i purchased a 2nd torch...

Its a stream light it works and works good mount sucks but what can you expect buy a good mount and your set

A lot of reviews say if you get an authentic one its great but a lot of people got counterfeit flashlights. I reviews here that helps people tell the difference may have changed things because when I got mine it was authentic. So I am happy with it.

I had used one of theses flashlights for about 5 years while performing my duties as a flight engineer. Now that I'm retired I bought one of these for everyday use because I liked it so much. I had all kinds of problems that i could not figure out and it quit working within a year. I purchased another one and had more problem with it too and it also failed within a year. I have both flashlight and compared them side by side and they have different parts inside them they are not them same. I believe the are not genuine streamlights and are fake.

This is the best bright light I have ever seen. Very small and compact, also comes with a nice little holder that goes on your belt. Well worth the money. It’s a must have, every day use flashlight. Very bright. I’m very happy with Streamlight products.

I gifted this to my uncle who’s an electrician. He’s used it for YEARS, and he’s beaten it to a pulp. It still works, and he claims it’s his best flashlight ever. I bought him a new one since his was looking very worn, but he put it to the side until his current gives out. Who knows when that’ll be?? I’ve personally ordered two for myself: one for keeping in my car and the other for camping/backpacking. I’ve had this light in my teeth, on the ground, under a foot, and used during a hurricane. It’s still going. Only issue my uncle and I have had is it’s lost it’s cover for the clicking on/off button. Oh well. Still works.

Picked this up as a decent, reasonably priced, & reliable EDC light. I carry mine button up in my front right pocket. It's short enough that it doesn't contact my keys, and the button is about even with the top of my pocket when clipped, so it's not seen. Never interferes with movement or sitting in this position. I didn't want to invest in something fancy or expensive that might get lost, damaged, or stolen, so I opted for this model. It's bright, water-proof (if you're not crazy with it), takes a variety of batteries, not terribly heavy, and efficient on battery consumption. I'd recommend. Surefires are sure nice , but this one will get the job done just fine.

This little flash light is probably the brightest little flash light on the market.

Built in mount is the right size. Doesn’t stick out too far. Bright with pretty good throw.

The brightness of this flashlight is impressive, with three different settings to help manage give better battery life or maximum light. Battery life has been excellent, charge time is good. I haven’t exposed the unit to water but there are rubber o-rings where you would expect for protection of electronic components. For my needs 10/10 would buy again.

I've carried and used this light during my time in the Air Force as an aircraft maintainer in all weather conditions ranging from -15 to 100+ degrees, pouring rain, and snow with no issues at all. If anything were to happen to this light I would immediately buy another. Battery life has been good although with the ability to run many different types of batteries (I've used AA, AAA, and cr123) you won't find it difficult to keep this light running when you need it, at least long enough to get a new battery later on. I've already had guys at my new job ask where I got this light because they like it so much due to the hands free option the clip offers. Bottom line this is a great light and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good compact light to carry around every day.

If you're not hung up on "surefire" this is the light. Just as bright and durable to me. Pressure switch mounting sucks but there exists a great aftermarket option for that. A quick "streamlight pressure switch mount" search will reveal that.

I am amazed at this light. It has it all for a edc. And the fact I can use a cr123, AA, and yes, AAA. Very versatile. It says dual, but it's really triple. Just don't think about it, and just buy it already. Edit: I probably sold a bunch of these at work today. I know my colleagues was impressed. They want it. I think I should get a cut lol.

This is my second one to own. The first one lasted me 5 years until it started having charging issues. Streamlight honored their warranty and fixed it. Because of this, I reordered another one to have an extra on hand

Not satisfied with the purchase. First one stopped working after a month. Streamlight nice enough to send a replacement, of course after I sent the defective one. Replacement worked fine but runtime is too short, I’m lucky if I get 10 minutes on a fresh alkaline battery. Turning it ON is finicky and very flaky, cant rely or depend on it wandering if it will work when I need it. This flashlight is worthless and sitting in the bottom of my toolbox.

I literally use this flashlight 10hrs a day, and for about 3-4 days without even needing to charge it. DEFINITELY a bang for your buck purchase.

Must have. Versatile battery options equip you in a SHTF situation. Very bright with the include Cr123. Great compact size.

Great Light for EDC. Bright enough for everyday tasks and even taken it night hiking and it lit the way beautifully. It has a good size and good pocket clip. Its a streamlight so it will last you awhile. The dual battery capability is pretty cool. However, battery life is a little shorter than I like.

If you need to turn the dark into daylight and at a long distance this is the light to buy. No bs properly rated flashlight.

No matter what leaving batteries inside the flashlight they eventually become too low to even use after a month or two without using them. Several times I had to change out the batteries without hardly ever using the flashlight. One set of batteries I never got to use after seeing it worked and put it away for later and I put the batteries in backwards for storage to prevent power loss or accidental turning on. I don't know what causes batteries to eventually bleed their power but this makes me have to keep a bundle of batteries nearby without any being inside or I will just waste those batteries. Therefor I cannot use this as I intended and cannot recommend.

I needed to replace my 1st stream light for hunting. This Baby does the trick. And it’s super bright at nighttime. There are better and more expensive pocket lights, but they’re not any better at brightness than this is. Highly recommend

I carry this as an EDC light in my front pant's pocket. Bright, not too heavy, and dependable. Wish I could use rechargeable batteries. Really a prefect size for my hand. Love the tail switch only feature, so I know the light will not accidently turn on in my pocket. Would buy again. Have fun!

Bought this to replace my ProTac 2L. This light is way brighter and the USB charging is very convenient. Overall another impressive Streamlight product. Highly recommend

It's bright, but rattling. The original one purchased never rattled.

The light is great. Very bright and easy to mount. This is my 3rd and I love them. The issue is the pressure switch is defective on this one. I contacted the seller twice and out it and still have heard nothing. Will be buy a replacement switch elswhere. In short great light, better if the switch works, but crappy seller as they will not respond to me.

Using this flashlight to light up by 8 acre backyard when letting the dogs out and it is Tremendous. Purchased 2 total along with a charger to keep them charged. Lasts all week. Either on or off no dim.

I was introduced to StreamLight Flashlights at work and I had instantly fell in love with them. Being sort of a flashlight nerd. This has become my new EDC flashlight. The flashlight takes 2 small CR123A batteries which last pretty decent long. I haven't come across a time that it has completely died on me. Its easy to hold and use aswell. I have attached pictures of my 2nd Streamlight Flashlight for comparison between Streamlight MicroStream and Streamlight Protrac 2L. The Protac was my 1st Streamlight Flashlight and for the longest too. I use the Streamlight Micro UsB now because its smaller and is rechargeable.

This is the perfect everyday carry flashlight. I carried mine for 6 straight years without any issues before losing it. Ordered another one workout hesitation. This light is compact, reliable, and built to last. I'd highly recommended it.

I've been using tactical lighting since the 1980s and have recently switched from 5.11 ATAC lights to Several Streamlight units, both hand carried and weapons mounted. Every one of these has been perfect, mounted well, had ample power, and did what I expected them to do. You can do much worse than choosing one of these lights.

I have not had any issues. Lots of power for a small light.

Great pocket light, takes cr123s or AAs in a pinch. Great quality. Part of my edc, I own 5. When I worked in EMS it was nice to have quality equipment without worrying about crying if it disappeared.

One word bright as the 🌞. If ur in doubt just get it. It's worth every penny and I need to get me some more.

Outstanding flashlight, if you need a go to that is not made elsewhere. Buy it. Won’t get better going cheap.

Great light?

I have always liked the Stream light brand and this flashlight is does the brand justice. I have bought a multitude of flash lights and this is by far in the top 3. It is durable and has survived a lot of drops. The push button feels very tough. I like that is uses two AA batteries and the battery life is exceptional. The light is very bright and although it does not have a beam adjustment, it really doesn’t need it. It works well as a spotlight or floodlight that will illuminate for a good distance. The flashlight is a little long compared to most AA flashlights and priced slightly higher, but over all it is worth the price and has high quality. This is my go to flashlight for most everything I do. Definitely worth the buying.

Amazing product. Stream light never disappoints

I bought this flashlight for my wife, who is a police officer. When she needs a light, it must work and it must be dependable. No exceptions. This light does not function correctly and is completely unreliable. I’ve tried to troubleshoot this light and I get the same result. I have several Streamlight weapon lights that have worked flawlessly for years. I either bought a lemon, or this flashlight series did not have quality control when coming out of the factory. Very disappointing.

I bought this for traveling (alone) because I wanted a crazy bright light (this is!) for seeing and for self-protection. I’ve used it for seeing in the dark but thankfully I haven’t needed it for protection (while this in someone’s eyes and temporarily blind them, or, bop them over the head with it!) I love it, it gives a sense of security, is super bright, fits in my truck console but would also fit in my purse (which is fairly large). This isn’t something you keep in your pocket! Which is fine - we have concealed weapons for that, but, this is great when you’re not going that route, plus, it’s such a good flashlight! Highly recommend.

This is a very well made flashlight and it is bright. However it took me a while to fix it so that it would not cycle through the settings.

To turn the light on push the button (nothing) then Wack on a hard surface. That will usually get it to light.

Battery life is terrible they are discharging while light is off.

One click and the terrain is illuminated without having to twist tail cap.

I have it for an emergency item stash in my car, I like it!

Its not what i expected! Not really bright as some other reviewers was saying. The good thing aboutbit is you can use cr123 batteriy or double A

Great light and the price is great.

Love this thing so far. The ability to use CR123, AA, AAA, and AAAA batteries is very reassuring. I have another put away in an emergency kit because of this. The modes are just about perfect for most uses as well, and I like the ten tap programming. I personally just have high and low, and like that I have the option to get rid of strobe. It's also a very sturdy light, and comfortable in the hand. Would definitely recommend.

I have been using this flashlight for about six months now. I am a truck driver and the size, lumens, and ability to clip onto a hat make it perfect for pre and post trip inspections. I had been using CR123A batteries since time of purchase. About a month ago when I inserted a new CR123A it would not power on, so I tried a different one, same thing. I thought perhaps I just had a bad batch of batteries. Bought a brand new pack and same thing. After multiple fails with the CR123A I tried a AA, and it worked. So the light still works but with a decrease in lumen output. This malfunction is the reason I can only offer a two star review.

I bought 2 of these for me and a family member. Both work great, and are very well constructed for the price. I would have preferred more than 350 lumens, as there are other lights this size that are able to get closer to the 400-500 lumen range, but this light is adequate for identifying objects and humans clearly at a couple hundred feet. If you are looking for an all around good EDC or backup light, you can’t go wrong with these.

Flashlight lasted for under one year with minimal use now the 10 button feature stopped working and it doesn’t get brighter than a flickering candle and is no longer under warranty. Stream light failed with this model. I’m going back to using the Fenix which is a far better product. Maybe I just got a bad one but is a waste of $100 of my hard earned dollars

This was the second Protac that I have purchased and used as a Corrections Deputy. It is excellent because it is not bulky or too long and is about the width of a duty belt so the simple pouch it comes with fits unobtrusively with the rest of my gear. It won’t light up a room but it is quite adequate at illuminating a cell or dark corner for a search and is very good for signaling attention across a room. I honestly don’t know the total runtime but I usually just swap the battery once a year. It is sturdy metal and well worth the price.

Just a pain and easy to lose parts if doing this in a car while working. Works well. Just not convenient. This will end up as a back up. Now on the search for a brighter easy to charge one.

Easy install and was already set perfectly. I highly recommend this scope. I had another type fopr years that cost over $700 and this one has proven so far to be just as accurate.

The illumination is excellent for a flashlight this small even with AA batteries. It fits comfortably in my back pocket and being able to run on two different kinds of batteries is awesome. I would recommend this flashlight to anyone looking for an EDC option.

The battery life was not as advertised maybe 45-minutes. Now it won't turn on at all. Maybe I got a bad one?

This is a fine light for carrying in case you need a quick light for a few seconds, but, if you are planning to use it for work for extended periods, I’d say try something else. It gets way too hot and burns a AA in about 5~hrs.

If you wanna see it, this will light it up for sure!! Extremely bright and the weight is hardly noticeable on the end of my long gun.

Tested with Eneloop 1900 mAh Nimh left on and timed. Constantly got over 2h15m on High: 150-lumen.

Saw this light off a pew pew tactical review. It is absolutely great for the price. It’s no surefire but it will do the job.

Here it is next to my Polytac. I really like the mechanism for allowing a AA battery to be used, because the battery is, properly, guided into place. I would like for the IPX rating to be higher but it seems that most of these type of torches are limited to the same water resistance rating. The high setting seemed to be a little brighter than the 250 (low) lumen setting on my Energizer T1000. How do people determine the lumens anyway?! It is more than bright enough for my needs and it is a very versitile little light. These high lumen machined aluminum lights are far more advanced and well made than the old plastic everyready that I used as a kid. You know, the flash light that you always wanted to beat on something because it just never worked right and when it did, wasn't much better than a zippo!

This was a graet purchase and it is as advertised.

I bought this for work and 3 days later it got stuck in the low beam mode and the 10 tap programming does not work to get it out of that mode. I don’t use it constantly so I don’t think it’s just dead batteries.

This rail light is bright and mounts on my mount perfectly. I purchased this for my CZ Scorpion and it’s amazing.

Great for quick use

Light came open box. Take note, the seller MAY sell you a new one, but can certainly sell you a used one without notification. The light itself seems to be ok, but the programming switch that comes with it is extremely sensitive. It does not require a press, but really only needs your finger to lightly touch it. Additionally, the switch had all kinds of issues with programming. It would not stay on no matter how it was depressed or programmed. Even when continuously depressed, the light would not stay on. It would also randomly start strobing. All in all, I can see why people go with surefire. This flashlight is a budget flashlight, and unfortunately it really shows. I can't say that if you get a brand new one that you won't have a good experience with it, though. Mine was just a used/beat up piece of junk. Could have just been a bad die roll.

Got a FAKE Streamlight sent to me, cheap feeling pressure pad, serial number starting in 086573 (Streamlight will verify this is a telltale sign of a counterfeit) end caps of the remote pressure pad and regular end cap have a slot cut into them for assembly whereas the genuine Streamlight does not, and the light output is cooler and less warm than the genuine. The thumbscrew for attaching to the picatinny rail is more brown then the deep black on genuine Streamlights. It uses a red O-ring but it’s a darker red and more translucent then the genuine which is a brighter red, the tail switch does have the Streamlight Logo and it does have a gold spring like the real ones. You'll also notice the lettering on the body of the light is slightly smaller on the fake. Packaging was just like the real thing and even down to the Streamlight sticker. Overall a clever fake.

I have used this for months. I have the 2 AA battery version and use enloop rechargables and a enloop recharger. every few weeks I have to throw fresh batteries in and it is ready to go. SO BRIGHT. Better light color than the warm led lights. I have a zanflare and now it is worthless after a year, the switch make it go off and on and flicker but this streamlight is SOLID. You can buy two cheap junk flashlights for only 10-15 only to have to buy two more in a few months to a year or you can buy this and have it work great for many years! Replace all your flashlights with these, Get 2-3. You will be thanful. I used it almost every single day!

This is a great EDC light. It is well made, bright, and the clip works great for pocket carry. Highly recommend!

Is it a Surefire? No. But its also not 300+ dollars. I have 3 of these.

i had another light similar to this one before. it had a separate button for lighting modes. i preferred that. this light is bright, it has a proprietary battery in it (not an 18650) which is disappointing as its nice to have spares on a charger. ill have to work on a way to modify it for a standard battery. the lighting options are HIGH/Low/Strobe. you quickly tap the on button twice and depress it a 3rd time to turn on low power. the light flashes high power on each press so thats annoying. you tape it once and depress it once to turn on strobe. the charging port is behind a protective sleeve, thats a good feature. from time to time the light will glitch out. not sure if its a contact issue to the battery or a firmware thing but when you turn it on it will flash randomly and almost cut out before coming on full power again. the light seems to auto detect low battery and will only function in low power during this time. ive used it for about 6 hours out in the garage and it still hadn't died so thats good enough for my work. the case is decent, we will see how it holds up as i wear it to work every day. i have not tested water resistance yet but so far break fluid seems to not effect the paint. it will be doused in diesel/oils at work so if it fails ill report back.

Extremely bright for its small size. The Ten-Tap feature is a plus, because I don't need the strobe mode. My only problem is battery life, so when I travel, I take extra batteries. My elderly eyes aren't what they used to be, so the flashlight is with me 24/7.

Light output is superb! material is top too. It is just the button switch that is hard to press but maybe in time, it will soften. Overall, it is a good buy for the price.

I only used it for about 2 weeks. I work at a welding shop. One day at the start of my shift, I grabbed the light to put in my pocket and noticed the end was bent at a 30 degree angle or so. I figured i could bend it back slightly and unscrew it to fix it. It snapped off as soon as I put pressure on it. Cheap design

Got this for my lead tech that showed me the way when i first got hired on. (I'm a maintenance tech) He lost his old pen light he had so i got him this one as a thank you for all that he did for me and he really liked it. I am going to get one myself as well. I would recommend it

So far, been working great. I like that it uses AA batteries instead of less-common batteries like some of the other streamlights do. This way, I can interchange batteries between this and my maglite.

I needed a bright flashlight to see the back fence of my yard when my dog was outside. This is perfect. Nice + small. I feel safe when my dog + I walk after dark. I just got another for traveling. Takes 2 AA batteries so easy to take extras on a trip.

It’s a cool flash light but the battery life is terrible.

Hands down the best work light I’ve ever had. Eats batteries but work supplies those so not a big deal.
