Recently received the D-60 in the mail and followed the directions to load/unload. Loaded about 10 rounds and then wanted to unload. The follower would not return at first and then slammed back into place. Plastic parts inside the drum broke and the mag was now a paperweight. Needs improvement.

I own 3 of these and each works as described. If you read and follow the instructions you will not have issues with the mags. I have fired as fast as possible (bump fire) with my AR and had no jams or failure to feed issues. I've tried 5.56 and .300blk with the same result. I did not rapid fire with the .300 tho.

comment on "Needs Improvement"
If you read the review by "Needs Improvement" it appears he unloaded the magazine the way they tell you "NOT TO." Don't worry about his review. Prior to purchasing visit youtube on loading and unloading (tons of video). Yes, I have two of them, but I have not put them to use. I can tell you that loading them is a chore.

No issues. Have thousands of rounds thru this mag now. Typical Magpul quality. Just keeps on working.

Fit is quite acceptable on my not yet complete pistol AR (but it's LOTS better than a few mags I have). Loading is relatively easy but I thought it was hard on my thumb. Yeah, I thought it was, loaded two 30 rounders afterward and yeah, I thought it was tough. Believe it or not it is getting easier but I've gotta stop wasting money like this...
Gonna get another

Excellence, as usual.
Magpul delivers. In spades. Just like always. Zero jams. Don't worry about the idiots that dont read the directions and cant load the mag.
