TriArc 1911 .45 ACP Government with 5" TRACK Barrel, Dark Earth Frame and a Black Nitride Finish includes two 8rd magazines
Crafted by TriArc’s experienced armorers, the 1911 Commander pistol is a firearm end users can trust. Each pistol is made using only certified American steel and all billet steel components to create a hard and dependable weapon that will go the distance in any tactical situation.
The pistol’s slide features front and rear serrations for easier racking in various ways, while the added side inlet reduces the overall weight of the firearm. The black nitride finish is able to endure harsh elements and the slide is hand-fitted for smooth racking and crafted from billet 416 R stainless stock.
The pistol’s frame is forged from billet 416 R steel with a hand-blended, polymer beavertail grip for increased comfort and the G10 grips enable a secure hold. The firearm also features a flat trigger with a 3-3.5 lb trigger pull and a hand-fitted, match grade barrel with TRACK rifling to reduce forward escaping gases. Additionally, the weapon features Dawson Precision Sights, a front fiber optic sight and a serrated rear.
The 1911 is crafted specifically to offer end users a superior firearm with increased longevity and reliable action that feels like an extension of the gun owner.
TriArc TRACK Barrel Overview
The TriArc Track barrel uses a rifling known as Single Edge Polygonal or SEP. It has a single edge area and a polygonal area separating the grooves. This hybrid of standard and polygonal rifling reduces any substantial deformation of the bullet due to its minimal engraving. Thus allowing the bullet to move in a straighter line and more symmetrically. A tighter seal on the bullet reduces forward escaping gases and gas pressure.
