DSG Contract Suspended for Non-Compliance with Vaccine and Reporting Mandates

11/16/2021: DSG has been notified by the U.S. Government that our refusal to accept vaccination and employee vaccination reporting requirements has resulted in the U.S Government suspending our status as an approved Federal Contractor via the General Services Administration.

From their communication to us: "Our records indicate that you have NOT signed modification A837 to incorporate the FAR clause 52.223-99 (OCT 2021) (Deviation) into your contract by the due date of November 14, 2021... Orders may not be placed against your Schedule contract until the modification has been accepted. Additionally, any current task orders cannot receive extensions, renewals, or an exercise of options."

The requirements incorporated into our contract begin with Executive Order 14042

Specifically, EO 14042 states that contracts "shall specify that the contractor or subcontractor shall, for the duration of the contract, comply with all guidelines for contractor or subcontractor workplace locations published by the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force". Many of the requirements for contractors are listed on the Task Force website.

We understand the impact the covid pandemic has had on our Nation and realize that all reasonable efforts should be taken to mitigate the impact of this situation. But after more than a year and a half of altering our daily lives and making every reasonable accommodation to keep our employees and families safe, we believe the mandates being placed on American employers are intrusive and counter-productive.

DSG's operations have continued uninterrupted since the beginning of the covid outbreak. During that time practices were put into place to operate in a safe manner as well as to provide an opportunity for all employees to receive their vaccinations if they chose to do so. At the same time we have not previously 1) required our employees to be vaccinated, 2) inquired about their vaccination status, or 3) become involved in our employee's personal medical decisions. And we do not intend to do these things now under threat of financial harm to our company.

Our customer support will continue at the service level our customers have come to expect, but for as long as the U.S. Government requires these policies as part of their contracts our sales will not be processed via any official contract agreements between DSG and the Federal Government.

2021 has been a year of extraordinary challenges for many American's and for DSG as well. May God Bless us all with better days ahead.

All of us at DSG wish you well and your continued support is greatly appreciated.
